Try it remotely first
A surprising number of problems — dropped connections, apps that will not pair, a device that has fallen off the network — can be sorted out in half an hour without anyone coming round.Book a £30 remote session and if I cannot fix it that way, the full £30 comes off the cost of the visit. You are no worse off for trying, and you may well have your evening back.
Living well with technology
Unhurried, jargon-free help for older customers and anyone who would rather technology just worked. I explain things as many times as you like, leave written notes behind, and never make anyone feel rushed.Saturday morning appointments are usually the easiest to get, and are the ones I would suggest for this kind of visit.

Everything keeps working, and someone who knows your setup is at the end of the phone on weekday evenings — usually the same day you call. Appointments are limited, so plan members get first pick of them.Minimum term three months, then 30 days' notice to cancel at any time.

Evening visits are charged as a single appointment covering up to 90 minutes, whether the job takes the full time or not — the evening is set aside for you either way.Payment on completion by bank transfer or card. All work carries a 90-day guarantee. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are charged at half rate, because that appointment cannot be filled at short notice.I do not carry out electrical work that is notifiable under Part P of the Building Regulations — new circuits from your consumer unit, for example. Where a job needs that, I will tell you before starting and introduce you to a registered electrician I work with regularly.Prices held for 90 days. Not VAT registered, so there is no VAT to add.
